The SCALE environment enables students to:
1. work on individual and collaborative activities which are proposed by the environment with respect
to the students’ knowledge level

2. collaborate in synchronous or asynchronous mode depending on the underlying collaborative activity

3. access informative and tutoring feedback components according to their preferences

4. have control on the navigation route through the provided activities and feedback components

5. inspect their learner model, which provides information about their interaction with the system (e.g.,
knowledge level, received feedback components, activities’ elaboration attempts)
